A React development company for new interfaces, and for React applications that already exist and need to be faster.
React is not the right answer to everything. These are the jobs where it genuinely makes a difference.
Order screens, stock screens, approval queues. The kind of screen somebody keeps open from nine to six, where a click has to answer immediately and a page reload would lose their place.
Numbers that change while you are watching them. Production lines, orders, deliveries, support queues. The screen updates the rows that moved rather than redrawing everything.
The area your customers log into. Orders, invoices, documents and support requests, with one login and nothing from anybody else account visible.
Catalogues, price lists, search results. Thousands of rows and a dozen filters, with the list still responding while somebody is typing.
Applications, quote builders, product configurators. Each answer changes what the next step asks, and nothing is lost if the person walks away and comes back.
Your database and your business rules stay where they are. We replace the screen only, usually one module at a time, so the old system keeps running while the new one appears.
Both situations are routine for us. Tell us which one applies and we will shape the first call around it.
The process runs in five steps, in the same order on every project. You can stop after any of them.
You outline the project and what you expect from it, we ask a few questions to understand the requirement, and we tell you whether React is the right tool for the job. If it is not, you hear that on the same call.
We go through the detail together. What the application has to do, who logs into it, what already exists, where the data lives, and what has to keep working while we build.
You receive a document that states what will be built, in what order, on what timeline, and at what cost. You read it before anyone signs anything.
The agreed scope becomes a signed contract. The confidentiality and intellectual property terms are set out in the same document, rather than in a separate one or at a later stage.
Development starts and we deliver working software at regular intervals. A preview environment goes up within the first week, so you can follow progress in the product itself.
You do not need the technical side to judge this. Here is what changes on the business side.
A click changes what is on the screen without fetching the whole page again. For somebody doing that two hundred times a day, it decides whether they use the tool or work around it.
The same screens work on a laptop in the office and on a tablet on the shop floor. There is no second version to build and none to keep up to date.
React is only the part the user sees. Your database, your ERP and your accounting software stay in place, which is why the work can be done one module at a time.
The rules live in the screen. A field that cannot be empty, a date that cannot come before another, a quantity above what is in stock. The person finds out while typing rather than after saving.
React is the most widely used interface library there is. If you ever bring the work in house or add a second supplier, you are hiring from a large pool rather than a narrow one.
Screens are assembled from pieces that get reused. A change to a table, a form field or a filter is made once and takes effect everywhere that piece is used.
The questions to put to any React development company, and the commitments we make on each of them.
A content site does not need React and you will hear that on the first call. We would rather lose the project there than build something heavier than the job requires.
Each screen loads what it needs when somebody opens it. The first screen does not wait for the code behind the other twenty.
Types are written as the code is written rather than added later. Most of what would otherwise turn into a runtime bug is caught while somebody is still typing.
You know the scope, the timeline and the price before you commit. We would rather lose the project at the scoping stage than argue about what was included halfway through it.
Who owns the code, and whether we may name the work as a reference, are both settled in the contract before the first line is written.
We stay inside the conventions the React ecosystem already has and we do not invent project-specific abstractions nobody else would know. Any React developer can continue the project without a rewrite.

React is a JavaScript library for building the part of a system people look at and click on. It keeps the screen and the data in step, so when a number changes the row showing it changes with it and the rest of the page is left alone. That is why a React screen can answer a click in the time it takes to notice.
It suits screens somebody works in rather than pages somebody reads. Internal tools, dashboards, portals and configurators all belong in that group. Where the page is mostly content a visitor reads, a server-rendered site opens faster and is easier to find, and on this site that meansNext.js. We tell you which of the two your project needs on the first call.
If React is not the right tool for what you are building, you will hear it on the first call.
